[Aranea leans back on the couch after putting her now empty glass on the coffee table in front of them.

Then, she leans closer to Steph - not in a seductive way, but more as a need to keep things sort of semi-private, considering where they are.]

They'll let just about anyone in as long as they play by the rules.

I don't know, it seems to work. It's all very weird, you know? I'm just kind of rolling with it as much as I can.

[Aranea drops her hand lightly on Steph's knee, but removes it quickly.]

[ Steph smiles, glances down at her knee and blushes. She's still smiling though. She has a girlfriend. ]

I, um. Should probably mention I'm taken.

[ She has the bestest girlfriend!!! ]

Good for you. [She smiles as she answers, not offended in the slightest. Aranea wasn't exactly propositioning Steph, but it's nice that she's so smitten it's an immediate reaction.]

I hope whoever it is treats you well.

[ Forgive her, she's distracted by her own swooning. ]

But yeah! I don't exactly have tons of friends, but I know how to have a good time and who you can beat up for funsies.

You would love Noctis, my - King. [It takes her a second to say it, but it is who he is now that Regis is gone, and she doesn't follow the Empire anymore.]

He's got these ideals too. I can only try to help out wherever I can. I used to be in it for the coin exclusively. But when the world is falling apart, what's the point?

[ That's why she quit. But that's hard to explain when you're stilling getting across the idea of being a vigilante by hobby. ]

My world is ending, actually.
